1. First burn: let the candle burn until the wax melts across the whole surface (about 1 hour). This initial burn is essential to prevent "tunnelling".
2. Always extinguish the flame with a candle snuffer or gently — never by blowing (avoids smoke and fragments).
3. Before each burn, trim the wick to about 5mm.
4. Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time — avoids overheating.
