How to use: Hydrating Gel with Niacinamide | 50 ml
A gesture that takes seconds: smooth the gel on and it absorbs straight away, with no shine or heaviness. With 5% niacinamide, it helps regulate oiliness, refine the look of pores and even out tone, while hydrating too.
Who it’s for
- Oily or combination skin that wants weightless hydration
- Anyone with enlarged pores or uneven texture
- Anyone who wants to help even out tone and dark spots
- Oily or combination skin that tolerates alcohol and fragrance (not for reactive skin, rosacea or a compromised barrier)
When to use it
Morning and night, for lasting results. Apply after cleansing and toning, and after your serum if you use one.
How to apply it, step by step
- Cleanse your face with your cleansing gel or foam and pat dry.
- Tone with the toner that suits your skin type.
- If you use a serum, apply it first and let it settle.
- Dispense a small amount of gel, enough to cover face and neck with a thin layer.
- Smooth in gently, from the centre of the face outwards and then down the neck, until fully absorbed. With this texture it takes seconds.
- In the morning, always finish with sunscreen.
Get the most out of it
- On oily or combination skin, it can be your only moisturiser.
- On dry or mature skin, use it under a nourishing cream.
- If you use vitamin C, apply it first, as it's more acidic. Niacinamide has no documented incompatibilities and fits into the same routine.
Avoid
- Applying it to skin that isn't cleansed or toned.
- Skipping sunscreen in the morning.
- Using it on reactive skin, rosacea or a compromised barrier: the formula contains alcohol and fragrance, and in those cases the Sensitive Skin Moisturising Cream is the right choice.
Pairs well with
- Even Tone Dark Spot Serum | 30 ml — Apply it before the gel: the serum works on tone and dark spots and the gel hydrates on top, with niacinamide helping to even things out.
- Energising Vitamin C Serum | 30 ml — Vitamin C in the morning, before the gel. Niacinamide has no documented incompatibilities, so the two sit well together in the same routine.
- Tinted Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 50 | 20 ml — The final step of your morning routine, always, after the gel.
FAQs
Can I use it with vitamin C or retinol?
Yes, with both. Niacinamide has no documented incompatibilities. With vitamin C, apply the vitamin C first.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Niacinamide itself is very well tolerated, but this formula contains alcohol and fragrance. If your skin is reactive, has rosacea or a compromised barrier, choose the Sensitive Skin Moisturising Cream.
How soon will I see results?
It depends on your skin and on using the gel regularly. We don't promise timeframes: we show you what each ingredient does and let you be the judge.
